    Hi Guys,

Just want to ask some questions:

    1. I have an archived file which has a stub in it. It should be recoverable by simply opening the file and it will do a persitent recovery right? But that was not the case. I needed to receover it using the commcell. The error is: "Unable to Access the system". Can you please advise?

    2. Our persistent recovery for a folder with 1 GB in size takes days to complete. Is this normal?

    Thanks!

It was working lsat week but now it's not. Users just open the stubbed file and it restores in commcell as persistent recovery. Now, I have to recover it using the commcell.

    Please share your thoughts. Thanks!

    Hi vmendoza,

What happens when the users click the stub file? nothing kick off in the job controller?

It comes up with an error.

I have found out the error though. The Commvault Recaller service was stopped. We had to start it to automatically recover files with stubs.

    Thanks
