Wondering if you can define more than 1 library on a media agent/grid.

The specific instance I am thinking about is a grid which would handle a disk library and a cloud library simultaneously. In my mind it would reduce server sprawl and should, in theory, reduce network traffic.

The software did allow me to define a cloud library on a media agent that already had a disk library, but i didn't try to use it.

Sure...   should not be a problem.   That type of config can also be helpful if you are planning to migrate servers into the cloud.   You can have an "on-prem" library used to back up the on-prem data, and dash copy to the cloud and using a cloud based MA restore directly to a cloud based client using the library and media agent in the cloud.  This same strategy can also be used to move clients back on prem from the cloud.  Cool   You can also use this same strategy to move data/clients from one cloud to another.  CV can handle any of these strategies.
