    Hi,

I have recently configured our celerra for NDMP backups (9_SP8a)

There will be 3 Sublients for each of the 3 volumes. I have set it to 4 readers, but as i understand it multiple readers may not supported.....

The Storage Policy has multiple device streams, 2 enabled and the TL has 2 tape drives

But if i run a sinlge subclient, it only uses one of the tape drives???

    Is there soemthing i'm missing?

Will a subclient only write to a single drive?

    Thanks

    Mike

My NS480 only has 4 available readers.  one stream (file system) can only write to 1 drive at a time.

If you put the 3 file systems in the same subclient you should be able to get 3 readers going at the same time to 3 seperate drives.
