What is the best method for backing up CIFS on the EMC VNX, we can make a dedicated NDMP port on the VNX for this but wanted to see if something else is better intellisnap I heard might be something to look at.

    Hi pslager,

I believe the CIFS method would be a slower backup, yet provide restore flexibility, opposed to the NDMP backup which may be faster yet limited to EMC restrictions.
