    One Way Firewall Clarification

I have a network setup consisting of 2 sites ( site A and site B ).  Site A will contain the Commserver while site B while contain the Media agent and clients.
The network is setup such that there is a network route from site A to site B.  However this is not true the other way around.  Would a one way firewall configuration be possible in this kind of scenario.

My understanding in a one way firewall is that it is still 2 way in the sense that the client still send some information to the Commserver such as backup completion and backup metadata etc.

    Any information/clarification is useful

This is CommVault v10 by the way.  I tried to install CommVault v10 in site B but it attempts to contact the Commserver and fails.  I was thinking it would not contact the Commserver since it is one way.  I already created a placeholder client in the Commserver

additional info. is it required to open port 8400-8403 or you can specify any ports e.g. 8600-8620. in CommVault v9 this is the case. Not sure with CommVault v10
