    Hi friends,

please, how can archive some path in a windows server? i installed the IDA archiving filesystem and configurated it but when i executed the archive don't move or achive any file besaides that created the archving rule: space in 50% and archive files modify in 90 days ago, afther that execute the archiving, browse it but in the last level show us the advice "No valid backup data for client".

    Thanks & regards.

    Hello,

Is this File Archiver for version 8.0?  Please make sure Service Pack 5 is installed (a reboot will be needed) to see if this clears up your issue.

    Couple of things to check:

If you are not concerned with the space checks set the both to 100.  This will negate these from impacting the archive as they will always be reached.  Moving to the other three rules, mod time & access time & size; ensure that access times are not current as typically AV can set access time to a current date.  REmember access time is not a default field in windows explorer so you will need to add it.  If access time is not important you can set that threshold to 0.  From there Mod and size requirements will need to be met accordingly, assuming you are use the "all" rule and not the "any" rule.
