    a ForEach loop is checking a CSDBQuery result list line by line. Some lines requests user input by PopupInput. If the times between the PopupInputs is less than 2 minutes the workflow completes successfully. But 2 minutes after the last PopupInput the gui terminates with a timeout, the loop continue but stuck if an additional PopupInput is required (no gui handle).
    Increasing the timeout value of the PopupInput will not fix the issue as this value will affect only the waiting time for the user input. The problem is the gui timeout between tha last (completed) PopupInput and the following.

    commvault.net.XMLServerObject getMessage
    INFO: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no"?>
    <EVGui_GenericResp errorCode="-1" errorMessage="Time Out to receive Workflow response"/>
    DatabaseMessage         : SEVERE: failed to set WFCommunicator event [2BE9AD30-7E87-4C26-9ACD-8A73523C26A6], messageId [1642], errorCode [2]

    Question: Is ist possible to increase the 2 minute gui timeout?

    Thanks, Kay

    Hi Kay,

    You can increase GUI time out from below

    Go to control panel - system- Allow GUI connections to time out(should be checked) and you can mention required time in "GUI connections to timeout".Once done give ok.

    Hi Prudhvi,

    thanks for reply.  I have speed up the workflow by modify the csdb query and replace the slow workflow foreach loop by accessing the sql result set within the Java script directly.

    Regards, Kay

    For future reference, there is a regkey you can set to configure the timeout value for the workflow engine.
