  • How to change the instance name within the Virtual Server client

It seems to be simple enough. I want to change the name of an instance that I have configured within my Virtual Server Agent. I right click it and choose properties. There is a field for Instance name. I change it and hit OK, but the name does not change.

    Any ideas?

    Is this 8.0 SP5 or 9.0?

I checked my environment and get similar results.

I believe a modification request was put in place and this can be done in version 9.0 but not in version 8.0.
