My problem is that the free space on Commcell Console is not the same vs. on the Media Agent owner Magnetic library disc.

For example in this momment i have a 300 Gb free on the mount path  and on Commcell console only appear 167 Gb.

    I have SIMPANA 8 sp4
Media Agent windows Server Enterprise 2008 sp2 English

    Have you any clue ?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello,

Have you run Data Aging to see if the numbers are similar?

    Are you using deduplication?

Yes JWeir,  we have deduplication policy active.

And let me attach the DataAging.log file and paintbrush image.

The problem is on the Media Agent called  GEST_w_tmxmailmbx03

    Thanks a lot

    Good afternoon,

Nothing stands out based on what was sent.  It might be best to log a support ticket for this and one of our engineers can have a further look to determine why this is the case.

If you don't have it removed by runing data aging, I believe it's part of Dedup datastore.
