    Hello all,

I have several Linux machines which have a NFS share, mounted with the following options:

The backupset backups /, takes all directories, except for the directory containing the share.

I think it's good for Commvault to exclude NFS directories by default, but, for this instance, I'd like it to backup NFS too.

Is there a GUI / registry setting I can use to enable NFS backups?

    If it jams, force it.
If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway.

    Hi Dannie,

Please take a look at out documentation with regards to backing up NFS mounts.   The recommended way to pick up these file systems is to create a new subclient and place the nfs mount point (Or a subdirectory of that NFS mount) into the content of that subclient.

Here is a link to the information in our documentation:

Also pay close attention to the backup of the NFS mount point as you may need to configure the sSKIPLOCKF registry key on the Unix/Linux client.

Thank you for the quick response.
