I have multiple VMs in a sub-client and want to filter three vmdks of one of the VMs.

    Question:  Will

    *server/server1_[2-4].vmdk

    filter out

    server/server1_2.vmdk
    server/server1_3.vmdk
    server/server1_4.vmdk

Turns out it is. I answered my own question by trying it, ran a backup and those disks were excluded.
