Content Indexing Virtual File Servers

    We've been backing up several virtual file servers using the VSA agent.  We want to now content index those servers.  I understand the VSA agent cannot be used for content indexing.

    We can install the file system ida on those VMs, but will that be enough to get them indexed?  Or will we need to back up those servers as if they were physical servers and stop using the VSA agent for those?
