    Hello

New LTO7 library. Now the auxillary copy are made on the LTO6 library. How to migrate to LTO7 library?

LTO6 will be power off. But old backups from tapes LTO6 are needed.

What is the make/model of LTO7 library?

If I am not wrong you mean would your new LTO7 library would support LTO6 cartridges?

    AlexK13:

    IBM 3573-TL

Not sure, if I get the model correctly but as the below link, it supports LTO6 and below and NOT LTO7.

    Hello Alex,

If I remember correctly, you first have to configure the new Library using Expert Storage Configuration.

After that, you should be able to go to the Secondary Copy of the Storage Policy, click on Data Paths and add the new Library as a Data Path.

Eventually, you can set it to default via the button on the bottom of the dialog box and remove the old library.

    Hope that helps.

    Best regards,

    Ollie
