I wanted to see what the benefits or features that ContinuousDataReplicator has over DFS Replication.  We currently do a lot of DFS replication to/from our DR site but on occasion I've found that it fails to work properly.  Since we already pay for a license for the ContinuousDataReplicator, I thought I'd investigate it's potential.

All MS Windows shop, so cross platform replication isn't a needed benefit, but a good one none the less.

    Hello Jehrichs,

Unfortunately, I am no expert in DFS, but I would say the one may advantage of CDR is having replication from various endpoints centralised, with centralised monitoring.

We also list a few good use cases for CDR on our documentation page.

I hope this provides some of the information you are looking for.

    Kind regards
