    Hi All,

After upgrade to v11sp9 from v11sp7, the VMware backup (intellisnap, netapp nfs) fail with "granular recovery" option enabled. With sp7 we don't have any problems also with "granular recovery" enabled. The ESXi proxy host lost connection for some seconds when try to Unregister virtual machine:

Example: Unregister virtual machine CCTAPP34_59968_GX_BACKUP Unable to communicate with the remote host, since it is disconnected. CARDIOCENTRO\!Backup CCTAPP06.cardiocentro.org 11/10/2017 4:11:16 AM 11/10/2017 4:11:16 AM 11/10/2017 4:11:16 AM

Resolution Action Tried without success: -

Installed latest Commvault hotfix pack v11SP9_Available_02Nov_WinX64.exe -

On the VMware side I tried to install latest build 5.5.0, 6480324, before we have build 4722766. Also after this upgrade the backup problem still persist.

As workaround I disabled the "granular recovery" option from the VMware schedules.

Do you have some suggestion on this problem?

Thanks in advance for your help

    Luca Bellante
