Does anyone know if CommVault will work if I remove Java version 8 and install Java version 9?  For reference, I am running CV v11 SP9.

The documentation only says "The software supports Java 8 Update 65 (JRE 1.8.0_65) or later versions."  I just don't know if that applies to Java version 9.  I do know that CommVault runs normally with Java version 8 update 151.

    Thanks,

    David

As of October 2017, the answer is no.  CommVauly does not support Java 9.

Support directed me to this KB, https://ma.commvault.com/KB/Details/30315.
