I was wondering if someone could answer a question around the interaction between schedules, schedule policies, and holidays. For instance, I set a holiday for a few hours so that no VMware backups would run while vCenter was being upgraded. System comes out of the holiday, and jobs scheduled after the end of the holiday run like expected, but what controls the ability of the schedules to either retry or run again once the holiday is over? We do not use operation windows currently and I did not find a BoL page that speaks to something like a start "window", or, does this only work if there IS an operation window set?

Basically how to define "you can run anytime between here and here even if a holiday exists in that window". Hopefully that makes sense. In NetBackup land, once the window is defined, even if you have things down for while, once the scheduler wakes up, stuff just re-runs up to the end of the window (like operation windows).
