And now I get the alert that those 2 hotfix are availlable but dont seems to be downloadable. This alert is now every day.

I am getting the same error manually downloading/copying the hotfixes.  They installed correctly but won't go into the cache.  It appears there is a package list file that is either empty or named incorrectly.

Are you still getting this? I've been seeing the same thing now for well over a month. I've tried to manually download the 2 updates mentioned and can't find them. We're up to date on the service pack as of today.

I believe Development is looking into this issue as it has to do with FTP vs HTTP and how binary download check is done.

Can you run the download updates job, but choose the option for FTP? This should clear out the cached error.

I don't see that option. I am probably looking in the wrong place. We have a scheduled job to check updates every Tuesday, but I get this error every day, so obviously something is running daily to check for updates. I'm just not sure where to look.

    Thanks.

Run the job manually and you should be able to select the option.

I appreciate the help, but in this case, I don't know where to go to find the option to run it manually. As I mentioned we have a scheduled job to download updates, but that's one day a week and running it manually doesn't give me any options. So I'm obviously not looking in the right place.

Go to control panel, internet options, download software and change it to FTP. Next download job will use FTP.

Got it, made the change, will keep an eye on it.

    Thanks.
