I see that I can browse to, and select the NFS Export Shares on my Netapp C-Mode filers (9.x) from the NDMP client. My concern is: Is it safe / advisable to backup NFS Exports Containing vSphere Datastore(disks) for VM's?

I see that NDMP dump is supported for NFS but I can't see anything related to "how or if it will affect datastore disks running MS SQL" Etc.

I could use some advice :)

ps. We back up many other ways, this would be Tertiary++
