  • Hyperscale, preferred way of synchronizing time between members.?

    Hi

In our new Hyperscale environment, the 3 nodes glustered, have now the correct timezone set, but not the same time. There is a noticeable difference.

What is the correct commvault setup to fix that problem.?

To me it seems that ntpd is not configured and no timesync defined.

    "date" example within 3 seconds:

    [root@ncop-cmvp-hyp01 ~]# date
    Thu Mar 14 11:06:47 CET 2019
    [root@ncop-cmvp-hyp02 ~]# date
    Thu Mar 14 11:08:46 CET 2019
    [root@ncop-cmvp-hyp03 ~]# date
    Thu Mar 14 11:07:33 CET 2019

    [root@ncop-cmvp-hyp01 ~]# timedatectl status
Local time: Thu 2019-03-14 11:13:55 CET
Universal time: Thu 2019-03-14 10:13:55 UTC
    RTC time: Thu 2019-03-14 10:14:04
    Time zone: Europe/Copenhagen (CET, +0100)
    NTP enabled: yes
    NTP synchronized: no
    RTC in local TZ: no
    DST active: no
