We would like to implement CommVault deduplication. We would like to know, how many Global DDBs we will need. We have two MA‘s. And which data types are similar and good to deduplicate against each other?

    We recommend 3 groups.

    1. Files

    2. Databases

    3. Virtual Machines

Create Gobal DDB for each of above group.

In future service pack we are going to do this automatically within a single Global DDB Policy.
