    Hi all,

I've got a situation where a specific Storage Policy has multiple copies associated with it. I'm going to consolidate this data into a single copy and looking for some steer.

Currently, only one copy is active. Am I best to create a secondary copy and then ensure the first copy I want to use is set as the active primary and then simply run an Aux Copy? Then once that job is done, repeat for required copies?

Or is there option I haven't considered yet?

You will have to create a new copy and then set each of the existing copies as Source, one at a time.  Be sure that you proceed through the source copies starting with shortest retention first and longest retention last......Also, I would recommend setting retention on the New copy at infinite until you have completed the consilidation, and then set it to your preference once done.
