We are replacing our 2008 proxy (VM backup) with 2016. For one particular MS 2008 SP2 server, when it tries to use a 2016 proxy it causes the proxy to crash. The MS 2008 SP2 server works OK on the old 2008 proxy OK. The windows team has updated VMTools.

Have anyone had a similar issue or any places to look?

    thanks you

    Larry

It's supported per BOL. What's crashing? You'll likely need to open a ticket and have a couple of full crash dumps for Development to review
