  • [REST WebService API Sandbox] : Insufficient permissions to execute QCommand

    Hi all,

When I tested on REST API Sandbox, the execution of the following QCommand :

    qoperation execscript -sn QS_DataProtectionJobSummary -si @LastNDays = '1' -si @OrderBy = 'Client' -si @IncludeRunning = '1'

    I have this Response :

    CVGui_GenericResp errorMessage="Operation Failed" errorCode="2"

I know that I don't have enough permissions to execute this QCommand, because I tested more  permissions and roles :

    - With just "Master" role, no problem : execution of Command successed

    - With juste "View All" role, Execution of QCommand failed

Do you know which permissions I must have to execute correctly my QCommand ?

    Thanks in advance

qoperation execscript requires the Administration Managmenent permission at the CommCell level.  https://documentation.commvault.com/commvault/v11_sp12/article?p=45130.htm#o45269
