  • Automatically distributing fulls across time?

    Hi all,

Is there a way to auto-distribute many clients' fulls/synthetic fulls across a cycle, instead of scheduling them to all start at the same time or creating a new schedule policy for each day/time-window that you want to run fulls?  Is that the point of a 'continuous' schedule?

    Thanks!

    Hi Liam,

What I meant was, if I have 400 fulls to do in X days, is there a way to make Commvault automatically balance those across the X days?  Instead of having to manually schedule them?

    Thanks!

    Perhaps this might help?

Thanks, Ernst!  That sounds like what I was looking for.  Is this 'RPO'-type scheduling option only available in Plans?  Are Plans going to be visible in the thick client at some point? (We like the efficient, information-dense UI of the thick client better than the claustrophobic, too-much-clicking-back-and-forth web interfaces.)
