    Hi,

After a VMware VSA backup job has completed, can I see somewhere (e.g. Report, Event or Backup History) if the backup has been made using the "VM-Centric Operations for Virtual Server Agent with VMware (VSA V2)"-method?

    Thanks!

I believe the v2 centric spawns child jobs during the backup process so there should be seperate job ids listed in the reports for the vms.

from the backup history->VM status tab

if you see VM child job id then it means its VSA v2.

Apparently, we don't backup VMware VM-Centric, although some Virtualization Clients were definitely configured after SP14 and later. Probably we don't meet this requirement: "For an existing Commvault deployment, you must enable Indexing Version 2." (http://documentation.commvault.com/commvault/v11/article?p=102029.htm). Our CommServe dates back to V10. I don't know however, how I can enable this.
