Since yesterday on my SP17.34 complex, the Alert No backup for last 7 days Type has been appearing on four clients. Two of them are individual clients, while the other two are groups. However, checking the backups of all four clients, they are doing their incremental and synthetic full backpus just fine everyday.

What could suddenly create these e-mail warning alerts when their backups are just fine, and what can be done to resolve the issue?

Is the client configured using the Subclient "default" or do you have other dedicated subclients for this Client?

If the Subclient "default" is not use, can you please confirm it is disabled for backup.

Hi Winston,

For that particular client, under defaultBackupSet the default is the one and only Subclient. And the default Subclient is backing up just fine on a daily basis. However, I still get daily warning alerts saying that the client has NOT been backed up for the last 14 days.

I've attached a screenshot showing the good backups, and the warning alert message.

That is very very strange. 

Might be worthwhile to open a Commvault Support Incident to investigate why these alerts are being generated.
