    Hello,

    I try to install agent on linux (RHEL 7) server with the documentation :
    https://documentation.commvault.com/commvault/v11/article?p=2009.htm

    I download Software package with root user and execute "sh cvpkgadd"
    Output is only :

    Using update installer /darkspace/cvlt/linux-x8664/LooseUpdates/CU37/linux-glibc2.3-x86_64/installer/newinstall.gz running as /root/.gxsetup/cvpkgadd/newinstall:
    -

    In the sh.log file
    ++ echo /root/.gxsetup/cvpkgadd/newinstall
    ++ eval /root/.gxsetup/cvpkgadd/newinstall --target /root/.gxsetup/cvpkgadd install
    +++ /root/.gxsetup/cvpkgadd/newinstall --target /root/.gxsetup/cvpkgadd install
    ./detect: line 1544: /root/.gxsetup/cvpkgadd/newinstall: No such file or directory
    ++ exit_code=127

    Thanks for your help

    Hi MiKL

    When doing the local agent install can you make sure the ./cvpkgadd has execution writes (# chmod +x cvpkgadd) and the correct permission (# chmod 775 cvpkgadd), then retry the reinstall

    Otherwise I would recommend re-downloading the packages, as the packages could be incomplete/corrupt.

    Regards

    Winston

    try running it directly as root and without observer-logging, might not work this way.

    Check if /root/ is writeable in this case, Installer copies stuff all over the place and know some hardened Linux that mounts some volumes read-only

    If that doesn't help download the full MediaKit again and transfer it as tar-archive instead of as extracted folder. Sometimes f.E. SCP corrupts the Structure during transfer.
