I have a Commcell with over 150 media agents. Can I turn this setting on globally or script or do I have to manuall do it through the GUI?

you can use the "enable ransomware protection" report in the command center. this report isn't available by default, you also need to get it in the commvault store.

i used it to enable ransomware protection on all my media agent in one shot.

You could enable Ransomware protection on a Media Agent with the below Rest API and programatically do it for a list.

Note: Please look for example: "Client Properties - Enable Ransomware protection On Media Agent" on the right panel.
