    Hello all

Quick question, we are using V7.0 SP5 and have some XP desktops we need to back up.

I want to create a schedule policy, but for the XP desktops to be valid "associations" i need to make the type of Idataagent the schedule policy is assigned to "ALL Agent Types". Which is fine......but i need to schedule a synthetic full rather than a full, which this then doesnt let me. Just the option for normal full or incremental.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Jammie,

If you create a new test schedule policy and select specific agent types, can you select one that will allow these XP desktops to appear in the Associations tab?  If you can, then you will want to save this new schedule policy and you can then create the synthetic full schedule you are looking for.  If this is not the case, you would have to go to that individual Client and create the schedule from there and select synthetic full.  Please let us know your results.
