    Hi Everyone.

    I have a strange issue.

2 servers both with some corrupt files and folders.

Server1 incremental are failing during the scanning phase as it can not open file/folder. However Full backups appear to work but skips the corrupt files.

Server2 incremental and Full backups complete and skips any corrupt files.

Both filesytem iData Agents are configured the same, why would server1 not skip the corrupt files?

I know we would not be able to recover the corrupt files, but the rest of the server needs to be backed up.

    Thanks

    Ben

I suppose the difference in results would depend on the type of corruption, and how the backupreadAPI treats each file.

The skew in results between the inc and full is interesting... Can you post the file scan exceprt for one of the corrupt files so we can see the difference between the full and inc from server 1?

    Ben,

It looks like you are using Classic File Scan.  Does this also occur with Change Journal?
