I am trying to convert off of our old data domain libraries to new data domain libraries. Our Commvault cell is running backups around the clock. I am trying to find a way to suspend all the jobs running to the policy, set the default library to another library and then resume the jobs.  However, I know I can't change the default while anything is running to the policy. I will have the window in 3 weeks when we take a major outage but I can't wait. So, is there a way to make a library read only so it will go to the other libraries in the policy until I get that outage?

Sure...   Navigate to the disk library in the commcell console.  Right click on the "Mount Path" on in the library and go to properties.  In the properties, go to the Allocation Policy tab, and there is a "radio button" in the Mount Path Allocation Policy for "Disable mount path for write".  This will force ALL backup jobs to go to another mount path, and ignore this one, while leaving this mount on line for restore only.
