In the Forum, we have added the ability for you mark a post with "Thread Resolved."
This is to allow you, the original thread starter, to denote which post best answered your question.
So, let's start with a standard post:
Here we have a post started by a Forum User. A brief time later, some users post some valid answers to his/her question:
As informative as the posts were, they did not fully answer the question. Then shortly thereafter, another poster replies:
Clearly, this was the best answer! Now, what to do next? Well, located in the upper-right corner there is an option called "Thread Resolved."
Selecting this option will show a dropdown which can be selected:
And once this is selected, the post is given a green postbox, with a green checkmark at the bottom of the post selected.
Please note that only 1 post can be selected at a time for the "Thread Resolved" post.
You always have the option of changing which post this will be, by using the dropdown and unselecting the post:
So if you've got a post with a fantastic answer, go ahead and flag that post with "Thread Resolved." It may just help the next person looking for that elusive answer that you've gotten in your thread.
