Under your profile > product information, try seeing if 11 is added in the ''software versions'' field?
Is the agent already installed? If so it should work as expected, it just cannot be upgraded.
If you see the client within the CommCell Console, you can try running a check readiness on it. Right click the client > All Tasks > Check Readiness. This will communicate with the client itself, and it will report back if it's ''ready'' - if so, you should be able to run a backup with no issues.
